- On November 28, 2008, the Town of Cohasset, Massachusetts received the Performance and Innovation in the SRF Creating Environmental Success (PISCES) Award, which is issued each year (this is the 4th annual award) by United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to one community within each state participating under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). The PISCES Award was given to the Town in acknowledgement of the Cohasset Board of Water Commissioners’ successful stormwater improvement project that involved construction of 40 raingardens to improve stormwater runoff quality within the town’s water supply watershed. The innovative project was conceived, designed and managed by Norfolk Ram Group for the Cohasset Board of Water Commissioners. The PISCES Awards acknowledge and promote program innovations that advance EPA goals of performance and water quality protection, and recognize projects that best represent the commitment to innovative and sustainable water quality financing.
- Norfolk Ram Group, LLC, in partnership with the Town of Cohasset, MA, was presented with a 2006 Smart Growth Award by the State of Massachusetts for implementation of innovative and environmentall sensitive Low Impact Development stormwater management to improve water quality in the Lily Pond and Peppermint Brook area.
- Brian V. Moran, P.E., LSP, Principal of Norfolk Ram Group was awarded the title of Diplomate of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute of Forensic Science (ACFEI) in 2002. The Diplomate distinction is a prestigious credential that recognizes excellence and achievement and identifies competence at the highest level. Not only does it establish the Diplomate as a distinguished top professional, it also encourages continuous professional development and promotes visibility in the field of forensic science.
