Norfolk provided civil and environmental engineering services for the design and permitting of a two-phase parking lot expansion for a major car dealership in Hanover, MA. The project added over 150 new parking spaces on 2 acres of adjacent land. The project engineering required extensive drainage improvements and stromwater management facilities (including oil / water separator tanks and a constructed wetlands polishing basin) in order to obtain state and local wetlands permits due to the site's proximity to sensitive wetland resources and its location within the town's water resource protection area (associated with the town's drinking water supply).
