Norfolk Ram engineers have prepared designs and overseen construction of hundreds of subsurface wastewater disposal systems. Systems range from two-bedroom, single-family residences to multi-dwelling condominiums with sewage flows up to 15,000-gallons per day (gpd) including pumping system designs and/or innovative alternative design strategies. Norfolk also has extensive experience in designing full-scale wastewater treatment plants and/or package plants for larger flows (10,000-gpd to 300,000-gpd) that require Groundwater Discharge Permits to be obtained from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

Norfolk Ram engineers also coordinate and oversee construction of wastewater systems, including review of shop drawings and contractor submittals, inspection testing of facilities and systems for acceptance on behalf of clients, and performance of final utility and "as-built" field surveys, and prepared associated as-built plans and reports for submittal to clients and state and regulatory authorities.
